Desire Mercy Ministries
Desire Mercy Ministries has a two-fold focus: The church and individuals impacted by homosexuality or any other issues of sexual sin.
Our church-focused ministry is primarily one of equipping and educating the church to be place of grace, truth, and hope for all persons impacted by homosexuality and any other issue of sexual impurity. Desire Mercy achieves that end by:
- Speaking to churches and pastors about homosexuality and ministry to persons impacted by these issues.
- Teaching seminars and workshops designed to demystify homosexuality and to equip the church to minister effectively to persons impacted by homosexuality.
- Provide on-going education and support for churches that are affected by issues of sexual brokenness.
- Provide assistance to pastors and staff with establishing ministries within the local churches and helping organize outreaches to those who are struggling with this issue.
Our individual-focused ministry is based on its belief that change is possible for all men and women, without regard for the source of their struggle or the depth of their feelings. Desire Mercy’s individual ministry includes regular group meetings for teaching and sharing with those impacted by unwanted same sex attraction, whether they are individual himself/herself or the parents or the family of that individual. Participants are able to engage with one of our four groups–for men, women, spouses, and parents—for support and healing.
