The Excellent Wife
The Excellent Wife
led by Karen Schoenfeld
Goal of the study is to glorify God in our role as a wife
Class will meet every other Sunday, January 15 - May 21 at 4:15 p.m. in Room A218
1. Who would benefit from this class?
Any woman who is married or planning to be married and hungers to know what God’s Word says about marriage. College age ladies through senior adults are welcome. This study will strengthen the best of marriages and offer help in areas we all struggle.
2. How long is the study and when will the classes be offered?
We will meet every other Sunday, January 15th through May 21st. Classes will begin promptly at 4:15 p.m. Since we will be covering 21 lessons in 10 classes, we will need to cover 2 chapters each time we meet.
3. Is childcare provided?
Yes, but ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED by calling (904) 757-3000 ext. 337 no later than January 8.
4. What is required of me to participate in this Bible Study?
You will need to purchase the book and study guide and complete two lessons prior to each class. This includes reading two chapters and completing the study questions for each chapter. It is estimated you will need two hours of study time per lesson (approximately 4 hours total). I recommend doing a lesson each week, since we are meeting every other week.
5. How is the class structured?
45-50 minutes of teaching time, followed with 20-30 minutes of group discussion time.
6. If I have been divorced and remarried, is this course for me?
Sure. For those who have been through the heartache of divorce, I believe you can greatly benefit from this study. Come learn how God desires you to honor Him in your marriage today.
7. Can someone who is not a member of NJBC take the class?
Yes, we welcome visitors however, if childcare is needed, an advance reservation is required.
Important Note: Books can be purchased through the NJBC book store in November & December while supplies last. The bookstore will close after Wednesday evening, Dec. 21st for inventory and may not reopen until mid-January. Books may also be purchased through alternative sources such as Amazon or Christianbook.com.
